Founded by Gautam and Deepika Mehra in 1989, what started with a single sewing machine in a small shed in Agra has expanded into fully mechanized factories producing 1.5 million pairs of shoes annually. Leiner pioneered the production of high heeled shoes in India and now manufactures shoes, boots, sandals, slippers, wedges and sneakers for women.
The factories are located in Noida (New Delhi) and Agra (Uttar Pradesh). Footwear is exported to premium brands and retailers in Australia, Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom & USA. Leiner also sells under its own brands - Vanilla Moon ( vanillamoon.in ) and JVAM ( JVAMonline.com ).
With an experienced team of designers from Italy, England & India, the company’s core strength lies in combining Indian craftsmanship with international design. Being fully abreast of international fashion trends, the design team ensures that its collections quickly adapt to changing seasons. With systems driven manufacturing processes and meticulous attention to detail, Leiner has gained recognition for its quality standards. Leiner participates at two premier international shoe exhibitions in Italy – The Micam in Milan and Expo Riva Schuh in Riva del Garda.
